Palmwoods District News was a community newspaper established in December 1991,  covering the Palmwoods, Woombye, Eudlo and Chevallum districts.

The name of the newspaper has now been changed to Sunshine Valley News to reflect its wider circulation area; it is published twice per month and more than 4000 copies are distributed free of charge to every mailbox in the area.
