MORE than 50 children turned up at Kolora Park last month to enjoy free
pre-Easter activities organised by the Woombye Uniting Church.
Activities included face painting, puppet shows, balloon tying and a sausage
sizzle, as well as a host of games. The youngsters then set off by torchlight
on "The Quest" as the rainforest around Kolora Park became the mystical
land of Goth. The story, loosely based on The Pilgrim’s Progress, was dramatically
re-enacted by a team headed by Palmwoods performers Tony and Kay Nixon.
