THE Chenrezig Institute will this weekend present a painting course and a public talk, by Geshe Tashi Tsering.

The painting course, called Painting from the inside out, will be held on Saturday, May 3 at 9am, and Sunday, May 4 at 4.15pm.

It is designed to help people express their creative genius, and no painting experience is necessary. It involves a simple layered painting technique, and will be combined with creative visualisation, games, fun and music.

There are only 15 places available and the cost of the course is $150 including all art materials and tea breaks. Book by calling the Cheryl at the office 5445 0077.

Geshi Tashi Tsering, Chenrezig's resident Tibetan Lama, will also hold a public talk called "How to Stop Anger" on Sunday, May 4, at 2pm. He will show reasons and methods for developing patience with ourselves and others.

The talk is free, but donations will be accepted. Book ahead for a vegetarian smorgasbord at $10 a head by phoning the office.

Both the painting course and public talk will be held at the Chenrezig Institute near Eudlo.
