New school taps in

STUDENTS of JD’s Dancing School performed items for their Parents Day Recital at Palmwoods Memorial Hall on May 17.

Judging by the many comments made after the recital, it was a great success.

Many of the students have not learnt dancing before, so it was a real challenge for them to learn dance and then perform on stage before an audience. Most had never given a public performance before.

It was good practice for the students for the end of year concert, which will be open to the public.

"We would love the support of the Palmwoods and Woombye community to come and see their local children perform," JD’s Dancing School Principal Donna Hooper said.

The concert will be advertised as the time comes near.
