THE Palmwoods Community Kindergarten and Preschool has had a busy month, with the children enjoying international cooking and an outing to the Kenilworth Cheese Factory.

The Kindy and Preschool children invited their grandparents and friends to help them celebrate Grandparents and Friends day. They made jam drop biscuits for morning tea and had a great time showing their visitors all the interesting activities they enjoy.

Director Lesley McGrath said the children had made the trip to the cheese factory in Kenilworth for Under Eights week.

"The children enjoyed tasting all the different types of cheeses and had a fantastic time playing in the great playground across from the factory," she said.

Parents and grandparents paid another visit to the preschool to help the children enjoy an Italian lunch after the preschoolers made pizzas, and the parents each brought an Italian dish to share.
