Growing Guide plants on show at Silvan Park

PALMWOODS and District householders hunting for the most suitable species for their gardens, can now see plants recommended in the local Growing Guide at Silvan Park Nursery in Winston Road.

Copies of the "Growing Guide. Recommended plants for your Palmwoods Garden" recently published by the Palmwoods Progress Association in co-operation with Maroochy Shire Council, are now available at Silvan Park.

"We have most of the recommended plants in stock so people can see for themselves what the plants will look like before making their decision,"

Carolyn Pomeroy of Silvan Park said. "The Growing Guide is an excellent guide for this area and, as the names may not mean a lot to some people, it is a big help if they can see the plants."

Visitors to Silvan Park can collect a copy of the brochure and mark the most suitable species, with nursery staff on hand to provide more information about the various species.
