The overall response of the push for "Nursing Home Beds for Palmwoods" was very successful, resulting in almost 1000 signatures (petitions) and personal letters to forward to Alex Somlyay MHR.

These, and others still to be collected will be included in Sundale's application for additional Nursing Home beds. These allocations will soon be published for all regions throughout Queensland.

Sundale sincerely thanks you and the Palmwoods District News for assisting leading up to the "Open Day" held at Palmwoods Retirement Village on September 27, 1997.

The end result of the response can be attributed to your contribution to which we are most grateful.

We trust that Nursing Home beds for Palmwoods will be the ultimate reward for every effort - the success of which will be well published.
