College graduation

THIRTY-NINE young adults - the graduating class of 1997 - stood proudly in front of parents, friends and teachers at the Christian Outreach College at its recent presentation night ceremony.

The students were dressed in blue academic gowns and were presented with red and gold sashes marked with "Class of 1997".

The annual presentation night saw students awarded certificates, medallions and trophies for academic achievement, sporting excellence and community participation and spirit.

The evening included items from the college bands, choirs and drama classes. The graduating class enjoyed an end of year outing to the beach, followed by a formal at the Sheraton Noosa.
