Jennie thanks all for support

SUPPORTING local business is important, and one local business owner has been overwhelmed by the support she has received this year.

Jennie Hughes from Jennie’s Hair Classics sends her thanks to Palmwoods and other local residents who have been so loyal to her salon in 1997.

"I would like to thank all my wonderful clients who visited the salon in 1997," she said. "It has been an eventful year for me having been married in March and settling into a new life".

Jennie said the salon had seen some staff changes during the last half of the year but she was looking forward to a happy 1998 looking after the salon herself.

"Again, I would like to thank everyone for a great year. Without you, my business would not exist," she said. "Merry Christmas and I wish you all a happy 1998."
