Students rewarded

Award winners Dominic McCall, Jacinta Kettniss-Stephens, Mark Davie and Barry Drew

PALMWOODS State School farewelled its Year Seven students - many of whom had been with the school since Year One - with a graduation ceremony at the Christian Outreach Centre auditorium last month.

As well as recognition pennants presented to all Year Seven students, awards were made to the winners of the school's annual awards.

Dominic McCall won the Darryl Davie Memorial Bursary, Barry Drew took out the Ken Moore Memorial Award and school captain Jacinta Kettniss-Stephens and Mark Davie won the Geoff Littler Achievement awards. The awards recognise outstanding achievement by the students.
