Lions Lines The Lions Club of Palmwoods-Woombye wishes to thank all who have assisted with their service projects and fundraising during 1997. The lucky winner was S Fitzgerald, ticket number 0834, drawn outside Woombye Festival Store on December 20, 1997. Congratulations go tho the following students who were winners of Lions prizes: Lions Poster Competition: Naaman Forrester; Shardia Slade; Danielle Meiling and Becky Frusalzo. Lions Essay Competition: Erin Pfeiffer and Andra Atkinson. Lions Memorial Bursaries: Four bursaries (each comprising a plaque and a cheque for $100) were won by: Marena Corcoran from Chevallum School won the Peter Collins Memorial Bursary; Brenton Shipp from Eudlo School won the Eric Withnell Memorial Bursary; Barry Drew from the Palmwoods School won the Ken Moore Memorial Bursary; and Stacey Tucker from Woombye State School won the Harold Steinhardt Memorial Bursary. |
