POLICE BEAT A NUMBER of break and enters have been reported in the
Palmwoods business community. THERE are still a number of vehicles being interfered with at the Palmwoods Railway Station. Commuters are reminded not to leave any valuables in their vehicles to tempt thieves. may be tempted to break into the vehicle. During the holidays, a number of vehicles were broken into with a small amount of property being stolen. A VEHICLE, stolen from Maroochydore, was located at The Ettamogah Pub after the owners followed the offender. Palmwoods police were called and the offender was apprehended and taken to Nambour CIB where he was charged. RESIDENTS are reminded to take care that everything is turned off when leaving their premises. A recent fire at Glenview totally destroyed a house. Dont become a victim. THERE has been a number of complaints of speeding on Montville Road between Palmwoods township and the school. When radar patrols have been carried out in this area in conjunction with the Sunshine Coast Traffic Branch, the clear majority of those booked for speeding have been local residents. Residents are reminded to be mindful of their speed. |
