Singers in tune for Easter show

THE Palmwoods Singers Theatrical Society is gearing up for a busy season, with rehearsals, costuming and stage decor already underway for an eye catching show on April 5.

"Easter Parade" will involve all age groups presenting a variety of melodies to delight the whole family.

Costume organiser Mary Juratowitch, with the big task of sewing new costumes, is pleased to have the help of some of the children’s mothers. The Sunday matinee will be staged at Palmwoods Memorial Hall at 2pm with admission of $6 for adults and $2 for children. Afternoon tea will be available.

Selections from the show will also be performed for the first of this year’s Monday morning concerts on April 6 at Sundale and Immanuel Gardens Nursing homes. Seniors are invited to attend the concert at Palmwoods Memorial Hall. The concert begins after morning tea at 10am.
