Palmwoods State School students tune up ready for this month's Country Fair

IT’S Palmwoods Country Fair time again.

The fair will be held on the main oval at the Palmwoods School on Saturday, May 16 from 3pm to 8pm.

There will be a range of attractions including school bands, lantern parade, the maypole dance, Indonesian Dance, tug-o-war, fireworks, the popular auction, and various stalls and rides.

The school has also organised a school band playing Indonesian music including the Angklung, an instrument from Sumatra.

With many competitions and prizes to be won, the school is hoping for strong support from the local community.

There is no admission fee and food and drinks will be on sale.
