Kindergarten capers
THE Palmwoods Community Kindergarten and Pre-School recently held a successful Teddy Bears picnic. The pre-schoolers have been busy discovering the life cycle of frogs and butterflies and have drawn many pictures to brighten up the walls. The Easter luncheon shared with parents and staff gave the children the opportunity to show off their Easter decorations. At the luncheon, the pre-school group discovered a "mysterious" set of foot prints. There was no doubt that the culprit was responsible for the little surprises left in their Easter baskets. Parents are gearing up for the Big Cent Auction to be held at 7pm on May 8, at Palmwoods Memorial Hall. There will be a raffle for a colour television. Donations of food, plants, vouchers, gifts, goods etc. would be appreciated. The local community has been generous with donations and all are welcome to come along to help raise funds for the centre.
