Teachers learn at Chevallum

TEACHERS at Chevallum, Eudlo and Glenview schools have been attending in-service courses at Chevallum School after school every week.

The classes are designed to skill teachers to high levels of computer competency. Teachers meet for two hours every week to receive lessons in a course especially designed for educators. Between lessons they work on an ongoing project and read set texts.

Education Queensland has provided funding to support clusters of small schools who have shown the initiative and enthusiasm to form working groups.

Cath O’Hara of Chevallum School prepared a submission at the end of 1997 and received approval to commence classes at the beginning of 1998.
