Singers concert postponed

THE Palmwoods Singers Theatrical Society production planned for June 14, has been postponed until August 30.

The Monday concert will be held at the Palmwoods Memorial Hall on June 15, for morning tea at 9.45am and the curtain rising at 10.30am.

Groups from retirement villages, nursing homes and hostels are particularly welcome, as well as residents. Admission is by donation and bookings are requested.

Just for Romance, hosted by the Palmwoods Singers and prepared by Friends of the Classics accompanist Rhonda Vickers, delighted the audience on May 3.

Tenor Phil Goldfinch and soprano Irma Cordingley were in fine voice and Rhonda superb on the grand piano. They will return on July 12. If you have not heard this talented trio yet, set this date aside.
