Nicole positive despite disability CHRISTIAN Outreach College student Nicole da Murra, was recently chosen by the Blind and Vision Impaired Persons Network (VIP NET) to receive a talking scientific calculator. VIP NET President Peter Ryan said that people in Nicoles position were often withdrawn but Nicole was quite the opposite. "When I first met Nicole, I was impressed by her positive attitude to life as a person with a disability, " he said. "She convinced me that she could achieve anything she wanted to and I believe people with this attitude deserve all the help they can get." The VIP NET also introduced Nicole to Sydney University Law Professor Ron McCollom, who has agreed to be Nicoles mentor in her quest to be a solicitor. |
