Owner Peter Blair established Woombye Cabinetmaking two years ago at Bart Street, Woombye (behind the Woombye Pub), and now offers an extensive range of fit-outs for kitchens, bathrooms, offices and wardrobes.

"Kitchens and bathrooms are the real work areas and where it all happens," he said. "It’s good to see how much our customers enjoy the finished product and the pleasure they get from it."

Peter said a vast number of variations of design and material was available, including laminates, melamine and solid timbers.

"We are dealing with so many variations, designs and materials, that it’s difficult to say that we specialise within a specific range," he said. "Although, solid timber is proving to be a popular choice for cabinet doors at the moment."

The solid timber range includes Tasmanian oak, pine, and New Guinea rosewood and all hinges and drawer runners come with a lifetime warranty.

Peter also provides a cut to size and edging service and general renovations.

"We do a lot of renovation works as this is a good area with a lot of older homes needing attention," he said.

With 20 years trade experience, Peter designs all cabinets and offers free advice and quotes anywhere in the Sunshine Coast region.

Operating from 7.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday, Peter is also available after hours by appointment.
