Concert time

THE Palmwoods Singers are hosting their third concert to be presented by "Friends of the Classics" at 2 pm on July 12, at the Palmwoods Memorial Hall.

Selections from favourite musicals and composers have proved a real hit with previous shows.

"A Little Nostalgia" contains some of the finest melodies from Porgy and Bess, Les Miserables, Fiddler on the Roof, The Desert Song, Kiss Me Kate and compositions from Tchaikovsky, Puccini, Strauss and Stephen Foster.

The program features former ABC accompanist Rhonda Vickers and tenor Phil Goldfinch, as well as German born soprano Irma Cordingley performing all-time favourites with their own special flair.
