Good sports at Eudlo

EUDLO State School Year 3 and 4 students enjoyed a sleepover in the tunnel at Underwater World in Mooloolaba last month.

They were treated to a seal show, a behind the scenes tour, a shark feed, dinner at ‘ Down the Hatch’ restaurant and a movie before bed in the shark tunnel at 10.30pm.

It proved to be an excellent educational and social experience for the students and was very much enjoyed and appreciated by all those who attended.

The school sports day was also held recently and despite many students suffering the effects of the flu, all events were hotly contested by the two sports teams - Wallabies and Whipbirds.

The day commenced with the march past, which was narrowly won by Whipbirds. The final winning margin of 12 points showed the closeness of the competition throughout the day.

Congratulations to all students who competed and tried their best and to Whipbirds on their win.
