In other RDA news, the Northcoast Trail Riders Club president Greg McDermott and
secretary Cathy Stephens recently visited to present a cheque as proceeds of the Annual
Ettamogah Pub Ride.
Organised by the Northcoast Trail Riders, it is an annual ride from Mooloolah to the
Pub and back with 206 horses and riders taking part this year.
Members, who were at the Pub Arena to welcome riders on arrival, said the experience
had been enjoyable for all the riders who ranged in age from 8 years upwards.
RDA president Hazel Larard said that such generous assistance from the Trail Riders
Club was invaluable in ensuring the continuation of the therapeutic and recreational
voluntary service conducted on horseback by the R.D.A.
