Palmwoods festival

THE Palmwoods Riding for the Disabled festival, postponed by rain last month, will now be held at Palmwoods Park on Hunchy Road this Saturday, October 3.

The group will celebrate its 19th birthday and annual open house with a full entertainment program starting at 9am with a Riding Demonstration and award presentation.

Many and varied entertainments follow including a display of classic cars; Arabian driving and costumes displays; a fashion parade; an outrageous hat parade which everyone is encouraged to enter and live entertainment.

Refreshments will be available and there will be raffles and music throughout the day. Admission is free.
