TROPHIES were up for grabs at the annual Nambour Rostrum Club 19 speaking competition. Members were invited to participate in an exciting program.

Congratulations in extended to Phil Inglis who was awarded the novice award, Noel Hovey who won the impromptu section and Michael Bloyce the open section.

These winners will now represent the club at the North Coast Challenge Cup to be held at Clio’s Restaurant at Palmwoods on November 4.

The club’s annual general meeting will be held on October 6 at 6.15pm at the Nambour Christian College, Woombye.

Rostrum gives skills in speaking with confidence, dispelling nerves and delivering a good presentation.
