Many businesses have been advertising their services with the Palmwoods District News from the beginning.

Silvan Park Nursery, Palmwoods Real Estate, Clio’s Restaurant and Palmwoods Auto Care had advertisements in the first edition and can still be found in our pages today.

Chetwynd’s Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Chetwynd’s Carpets, North Coast Tanks, Karen’s Hairstylists and Vetter’s Mowing Service came in a few months later and have been with the Palmwoods District News ever since.

Chrissy’s Pizza and Pasta, formerly known as Papa Johns and the Blossomworks, now known as Whispering Willows, were also there in December 1991.

The Palmwoods District News owes its success and its ability to bring the local news to the community, to its loyal advertisers - businesses such as Palmwoods Farm and Garden, Bill Ellis Real Estate, The Woombye Cafe, Alan Taylor Solicitors, Rod Tunstall Accountant, Wades Festival, Jennie’s Hair Classic, Palmwoods Pharmacy, Piccabean Cottage, Ranns Fruit Vegetables, Palmwoods Landscaping, Gold Pest Control, Palmwoods Electrical, Palmwoods Cabinets and Bevan Mitchell Blinds.
