Dancers ready to tap toes

MANY young Palmwoods and Eudlo district dancers who joined Nambour’s Sunshine Dance Centre during the year will perform at 1998 In Concert.

The dancing spectacular will be presented at the Nambour Civic Centre tomorrow night (Friday) at 7.30 and on Saturday afternoon at 2pm.

A cross section of dance will be displayed from dancers aged between three and adults. More than 90 performers will take part in the medley of classic ballet, neoclassical and jazz/funk numbers.

Included on the program are the classic ballet The Nutcracker, favourite Grease songs, excerpts from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera and Cats as well as excerpts from the spectacular tap musical Hot Shoe Shuffle.

Go along and see what talented young dancers the district and teacher Carman Olley have created. Tickets are available from the Nambour Civic Centre.
