More Palmwoods Lions news

COMMENCING the Sunday morning’s program was the Remembrance Ceremony, honouring Lions, Lionesss, Leos or their partners who passed away during the preceding year. This very fitting and moving ceremony was organised and conducted by the Palmwoods/Woombye Lions Club. The highlight of the service was the performance of the Palmwoods Duo of Wendy Southam and Megan Cavanagh, ably accompanied by Marjorie Murray. The dulcet tones of the duo left a deep and moving impression on all those attending and highlighted what a wonderful and resourceful group the Palmwoods Singers are. The Palmwoods Singers are a wonderful asset to our community and the Lions Club wish to thank them for their wonderful support.

RSL Christmas Quest

BOYS and girls aged two to 12 years are invited to enter the RSL Christmas Quest. The quest will be held at the Maroochydore RSL Club on December 22. Boy and Girl winners in each age group receive trophies, prizes and $100 cash. Every entrant raising extra funds will also be rewarded with cash prizes. All entrants will receive a quality Christmas gift from Santa. Phone Liz 5478 3174.
