CWA wins funding

THE Queensland Country Women's Association's Palmwoods branch will benefit from gaming grants allocated to the Sunshine Coast from the Gaming Machine Community Benefit Fund with over $4500 allocated to reroof the hall.

Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasurer Darryl Briskey has announced more than $336,000 in grants for the Sunshine Coast region for the December Quarter.

"Christmas has come early for the hundreds of Queenslanders who work with charitable and community organisations,'' he said.

"This money - $336,646 in total - assists community and charitable projects throughout the Sunshine Coast region."
