Hostel canteen open

PALMWOODS Sundale Hostel Auxiliary reports: The Canteen is open from 10am to noon on Tuesday and Thursday and from 11am to 1pm on Sunday. The residents enjoy this facility as a convenience store and they can change their library books here.

President Margaret Hallett is on 5445 0245 and would be pleased to hear from any local residents who could help serve in the canteen on any of the above days.

Some of our volunteers have left the district and we are sure there are local ladies who would be pleased to help with this rewarding work. The auxiliary meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 2pm.

Canteen helpers are welcome to attend these meetings but it is not essential. Help is what we need.
