Pancake lunch

St Augustine's Guild will be holding a pancake lunch on February 16. Come along and join in the fun, see who can win the pancake race and who can toss the highest pancake and catch it. Bookings on 5445 2554. A11 welcome.

Sunday school will resume in February if there are sufficient children. Inquiries to 5478 9300. Junior worship is at 8am, same time as the Sunday Service.

If anyone wishes to know more about being a Christian, they are invited to attend the Alpha course which will begin in February at a time to suit participants. This is a simple course and runs for approximately 15 weeks. The only cost will bc $6 for a book. Inquiries to Rev Pat on 5478 9300.

Social group

THE Hand-of-Hope, self-help social group extends a warm welcome to people in the district to a get-together for a coffee/chat on Tuesday evenings. This is a free community networking which allows all solo/singles to enjoy the company of others in their own time and at their own pace in helping to combat loneliness.

Donations keep this group running, with a monthly newsletter and an up-to-date "interest" sheet of all the people on the Coast as well as the Wide Bay, which is sold for $2 a copy.

I need a host to run this coffee/chat evening in this area. Anyone interested please contact me (Maroochydore).

A regular Sunday meeting is also held at Picnic Point, Maroochydore and Point Cartwright each Sunday for the overall combined groups at Caloundra, Maroochydore and the outer suburbs.
