Students excel

HAIMEE-JANE Roberts, a student at the Christian Outreach College, Woombye, was the winner of the Club finals of the Palmwoods/Woombye Lions Youth of the Year Quest, recently held at Verandah’s Restaurant, Forest Glen.

Eight contestants representing Nambour and Burnside State High Schools, St Johns and the Christian Outreach College, faced the judges in an outstanding evening of debate. Haimee-Jane, 16, will now go through to the next round of the quest which involves competition against the winners of Buderim, Coolum, Maroochydore, Mooloolaba and Nambour Lions Clubs.
