PALMWOODS Community Kindergarten and Pre-school welcomes past and present children and parents to 1999 at the centre. We also extend our welcome to the wider Palmwoods community and hope 1999 is a good year for us all. Our AGMon February 15 was chaired by past parent/committee member and now life member Joan Pobjoy. The 1998 committee closed the year with reports from all sectors and nominations for eight positions in the 1999 committee were filled. They are: President Marie Little; Secretary Lorraine Minto; Vice President/Maintenance Officer Mark Warren (past student); Treasurer Louise Miles; Assistant Treasurer Michelle Larsen; Publicity Clare Fox; Parent Representative Michelle Holthouse (three day group) and Susan Netov (two day group).

Marie Little then presented much loved past teacher Beryl Cox with a well deserved life membership and thanked her for her support, time and talent.

Two groups operate this year - three days and two half days 2 1/2 days and a playgroup on Thursday afternoon. While things are fairly consistent with previous years, there are a few more younger children attending the full day group this year.
