Keep water flowing

Water is one thing that we take so much for granted. Local Palmwoods resident Warden Beiers decided that he would like to find a reliable way of watering his garden that would not cost him a fortune.

Mr Beiers contacted Paul Markwell from Bluewater Bores, Palmwoods. Mr Markwell was able to drill a successful bore for Mr Beiers that will enable him to water all year round.

"When my wife and I moved to our new home 18 months ago our block was completely barren, we have used the majority of our water consumption on our garden", Mr Beiers said.

"Water rates over the last 18 months has cost me nearly $700, I will be saving a considerable amount of this cost in the future due to my new bore", Mr Beiers said. Mr Markwell confirmed this, "The cost to drill a bore will save Mr Beiers thousands of dollars on his rates in the next few years, which is a fraction of the cost to have a water bore installed".
