Film Review of the Month
"Unwed Father"

Starring: Brian Austin-Green (90210), Nicholle Tom (The Nanny)

This movie explores the consequences of a one-night stand.

The movie covers the girl’s inability to cope with being an unsupported, emotionally and financially single parent.

As an act of desperation she thrusts the baby into the father’s care; he denies paternity.

He then is thrown into the merry-go-round of an inadequate welfare system, and the lack of support from his father. He experiences first hand the role of being a single father.

The bonding and love that then takes place between the baby and the father, his coping skills etc are a credit to the young man.

The custody issues which ultimately arise, and the compromises made by both parents are food for thought.
