New clubhouse celebration

Palmwoods district bowlers celebrate the opening of new clubhouse
with a game on the Labour Day weekend.

PALMWOODS Bowls Club was buzzing over the May Day weekend opening celebrations.

The new clubhouse was officially opened Saturday night May 1 by secretary of the board Phil Doohan.

A crowd of around 150 turned out for an evening of live music, tasty finger food and socialising.

The following day a bowls afternoon was heavily patronised with 84 participants from the Nambour District Bowls Association competing.

The Bowls Club is offering social membership for $10 for 5 years and full membership for $40 per year.
