Bishop to visit St Augustines church

St Augustines Anglican Church and the Uniting Church will combine for an Ecumenical service on Sunday May16 from 6.30pm.

It is hoped that the high school chaplains from Nambour will come and address us about their work with the young people of our area. Anyone is welcome to come and attend this service which will be held in the Anglican church. Inquiries to 5478 9300.

On Wednesday, May 26, the Anglican church will be 74 years old and the Archbishop, the Most Reverend Peter Hollingworth will be coming to address the congregation. The service will begin at 6pm and will be followed by a fork dinner.

Everyone is welcome to attend, but we need to know by May 19 for catering purposes. This will be a wonderful occasion and it is expected that the Archbishop will talk about Canterbury as St Augustine of Canterbury is our Patron Saint. Inquiries to 5478 9300.
