DINERS eating at Clios over the past two months have been treated not just with
culinary delights but also with artistic displays from local artists.
Organised by Pam Burton, two local art groups combined to display 31 exhibits of mostly
unframed canvas paintings with variations from floral, landscape through to abstract.
The Petrie Creek Park group and Different Strokes, both Nambour based groups, but with
many pupils from Palmwoods and Woombye, will have their work exhibited at Clios
until the end of May.
Pam Burton who organised the display is a well known award winning local artist who has
been on the Sunshine Coast since 1970. Pam has been thrilled with the response from the
public to the exhibition.
"The feedback has been very positive and complimentary," she said.
Thirty-three people attended our opening morning tea and Clios have also been
very happy with the added ambience to their restaurant."
Pam is also holding a luncheon art seminar at the restaurant from 9am on Wednesday,
June 2. Inquiries to 5476 2358.
