Kindy kids' outing

Palmwoods Community Kindergarten and Pre-School kids don't
mind the rain as they head to a show in Nambour, on the train.

LEADING up to under 8’s week, the children of Palmwoods Community Kindergarten and Pre-School prepared Mother’s Day gifts and cards, made invitations for Grandparents’ Day and practiced lots of songs in preparation for the theatre show Round and Round the Mulberry Bush, performed in Nambour on May 19. Despite constant rain, enthusiasm on the day refused to be dampened as the children waited eagerly for the train to arrive for the trip to Nambour. At the show, children and their parents were enthralled by the magic of the stage and its performers. Little Bo Peep will never be the same again.

Under 8’s Week was celebrated with a visiting musician and story teller, Grandparents’ Day and a teddy bears picnic. Play group families attending Thursday afternoon sessions are enjoying using the educational game, toys, books, craft activities such as painting, play dough and clay, and group activities like singing. They had a wonderful time with the outdoor play equipment, sand pit, play house and more. Inquiries to Lesley or Sandi on 5445 9027.
