Woombye soccer lads

Sunshine Coast TIS under 12's Woombye Warriors representatives - manager Gordon Meadows, team mates - Luke Rose, Matt Parsons, Daniel Meadows, Coach - Mark 'legend' Parsons.

THE Woombye Warriors Soccer Club was well represented in the Sunshine Coast teams competing in the Queensland Christian Soccer State Titles held at Ipswich on the Queens Birthday week end.

The Sunshine Coast teams were very successful winning the under 10’s, under 11’s, under 12’s and under 13’s divisions.

This was a major achievement with all these teams completing the competition without a defeat.

Woombye was well represented in all age groups with the under 10’s being the best represented with six players in their team.

Mark Parsons, coach of TIS under 12’s said, "It was a very good experience for the boys and I hope they enjoyed themselves. They played very well, I’m very proud of them".
