Coffee, cake and gifts

Friendly service with Trish Cooper

PALMWOODS Coffee House celebrated its fourth birthday on October 4 with owner Trish Cooper toasting her most successful year so far.

Specialising in home-cooked fare Trish has built up a reputation for serving good food at reasonable prices in a pleasant café style atmosphere.

Helped by her mother Joan Schoeman and full-time waitress Zoe Martin, Trish endeavors to make her menu interesting and affordable and her customers comfortable.

"I rely on repeat business that is why it is imperative that my customers are satisfied with every aspect of their visit here – the food, the service, the ambience," Trish said.

"Over 90% of my customers are regular locals, tourists are only a small part of my business."

"Without the loyalty of my regulars I could not make a living."

Trish has been involved in hospitality for over eight years; she has worked in London and also for several five star hotels in Sydney prior to opening her coffee house.

Trish is planning some exciting changes to the menu at the end of October and also wishes to advise that she serves a Christmas banquet starting from around $12.00 per head. Christmas morning and afternoon teas are also available from $5.00 per person.

In addition to selling food and beverages, Palmwoods Coffee House also sells artwork and giftware.

Palmwoods Coffee House is situated on Palmwoods-Montville Road and is open Monday to Friday from 7.00 am to 4.00 pm and Saturday from 8.00 am to 1.30 pm.
