Palmwoods Business Forum

THE Palmwoods Business Forum met at the Palmwoods Bowls Club on August 28 to discuss various issues that impact on local business.

Division 2 Councillor Jenny McKay attended the meeting, along with representatives from the Palmwoods business community. Issues discussed included: purpose of the forum and how it can benefit local business; the traffic calming proposal; the proposed markets to be held near Queensland Rail; promotion of Palmwoods on the internet; and ways to beautify Palmwoods town centre.

The business forum is urgently seeking the return of the questionnaire published in Sunshine Valley News on August 22, which seeks input from all business operators in Palmwoods.

The Palmwoods business forum meets on the last Monday of each month at 7.30 pm at the Palmwoods Bowls Club. All members of the local business community are encouraged to attend. All input is welcome.
