Ceramics still popular

TRISH Quarry of Palmwoods Ceramics in Dunning Street has had a busy twelve months establishing her business and conducting classes at her Palmwoods home.

As a fully qualified teacher in ceramics Trish can offer interested individuals professional instruction on such aspects as dry brushing and underglazing.

Trish has a kiln on the premises and her underglazes include all sorts of products ranging from toiletries, lamps, vases, casserole dishes, cup and saucers.

All her kitchen products are microwave/dishwasher/oven proof.

She uses an American product called ‘Duncan’ and can make specific items upon individual request.

Trish sells the greenware and glazes from her home and sells the finished product to many local gift shops and florists.

Her classes are conducted on Monday’s from 9am to 12pm and Wednesday from 9 am to 2 pm.

Her business is also open on Monday and Wednesday from 9 am to 3 pm.
