Though the content usually does not relate directly to the Sunshine Coast (we hope), Mapleton, in the beautiful Blackall Range, is the headquarters of this "international bi-monthly alternative news magazine, covering the fields of - Health Alternatives; Suppressed Science; Earth's Ancient Past; UFOs & the Unexplained; and Government Cover-Ups." Selected articles are published here along with details of the contents of current and back issues, and some interesting links. Sure, there's some paranoia but also a lot of thought-provoking information.

An online art gallery - what a great idea! The real thing is in Noosa, but unless you're going there, take a virtual tour instead. You get a display of heaps of thumbnail pictures of art for sale; click on a picture for a bigger view plus a profile of the artist and a full selection of his/her work.
